Job Purpose:

To provide a comprehensive, effective and efficient administrative support service to meet business requirements. Working within a small call centre environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Dealing with inbound calls from clients, relatives and health professionals.

Assess customer requirements and use a range of electronic systems to provide accurate information and deal with enquiries within current data protection legislation.

Make routine changes to internal systems in response to customer requirements and communicate within the team in a timely manner to maintain standards of service.

Make out bound calls to colleagues, health professionals, clients and relatives as required.

Establish a network of contacts from internal and external customers.

Communicate promptly using email.

Daily updating of excel spreadsheets with key stats.

Person Specification:

Essential Qualifications, knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Good standard of education including GCSE or equivalent grades
  • A-C in Maths and English
  • Enthusiastic and positive approach
  • Effective communication skills both written and oral
  • Good keyboard skills and computer literate in a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Significant experience of working in a customer focused environment and being part of a team
  • Ability to deal with the pressure of a busy call centre environment that receives a high level of inbound calls.
  • Able to work without close supervision
  • Previous inbound and out bound telephone experience essential.
  • Customer service experience also essential.
