Exciting opportunity to lead electrical engineering design on high-profile rail sector projects.
Due to my client being awarded on several national rail frameworks, we are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join the growing team of a well-established multi-disciplinary engineering design consultancy who specialise in mission-critical projects throughout the UK.
THE COMPANY
- A well-established and highly respected multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong track record in delivering large-scale rail and mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- They are enjoying a successful period of growth having grown by over 25% in the last three years.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer will be leading electrical engineering design efforts and provide technical direction to the team.
- The Senior Electrical Engineer will be providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the electrical team.
- The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will conduct technical reviews of project deliverables to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- They will be liaising with clients and other engineering disciplines, including Civils, Architecture, and Track & Signals, to ensure coordinated project delivery.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
- The Senior Electrical Engineer will have practical experience in electrical engineering design, ideally within the rail sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical design engineering and experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health) interdisciplinary design.
- The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be proficient within Relux, Amtech and Dialux and ideally have working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and MicroStation.
- They will be well-versed in delivering multi-disciplinary rail projects and coordinating with various stakeholders.
