Are you an Associate Director of Finance looking for the next challenge in your career? My client is looking for a leader who can deputise for the CFO when required and oversee the daily management and oversight of the Finance Department. You will have the opportunity to support senior managers and clinicians with financial recovery so previous experience in this would be highly beneficial.
As the Associate Director of Finance you will have the opportunity to assist in steering the organisation out of a period of financial deficit. You will become a senior member of the management team and contribute to the wider activities and your role will naturally evolve during your time there.
Key responsibilities of the Associate Director of Finance
- Produce management information and develop patient led costing
- Create and sign off annual financial plans
- Carry out financial review of business cases and major capital schemes
- Allocate and monitor budgets and cost improvement programmes
- Lead on statutory and regulatory financial returns
- Support the C-Suite in implementing the financial strategy
Required skills and experience of the Associate Director of Finance
- Recognised financial qualification or equivalent experience
- Leadership skills with an ability to influence at all levels
- Knowledge of up to date accounting principles and procedures
- Project experience with multiple stakeholders
- Successful delivery of change management
