Orka Financial is working with a well-established business based in Basingstoke, who are looking to hire an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their fast growing finance team, you will be reporting to the Finance Manager working within a busy accounting department.This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant who has previous experience supporting the AP function, dealing with suppliers on a daily basis, assisting with month end processes and managing day to day accounts payable queries. Responsibilities
- Processing multi-currency purchase invoices
- Monitoring AP mail box
- Carry out monthly supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on resulting queries
- Dealing with telephone and email supplier queries
- Checking and processing expenses
- Ensuring accurate VAT records
- VAT return completion.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the Accounts Payable function
- Good IT skills to include Word and Excel
Salary £30,000 - £32,000 + excellent company benefits
