We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Investment and Development Finance team as an Insight Analyst (Investment & Development)Â on a fixed term basis until November 2025. With offices in Basingstoke, Bristol and London, we can be flexible on your base location. You'll share your time between the office and home, as well as some travel being required between our offices.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Investment Analytics Manager, your role is to deliver insightful analysis, Power BI dashboards and self-service analytics to support decision making and strategy creation by the senior leadership of SNG's Investment and Development directorate.
This role will support the creation of Asset management planning around disposal, acquisition, development and regeneration activity to optimise our use of capital to deliver and maintain high quality homes in areas of greatest need.
Main responsibilities include:
- Undertaking bespoke analysis and create self-service analytics to support capital decision making and improve understanding of investment and development performance
- Supporting data-led insight generation, creating analysis to support the identification of strategies to improve performance - spotting underperformance, emerging risks
- Creating insight and analysis to understand progress through the development gateways and identify risks and opportunities within the development pipeline
- Creation, delivery and maintenance of new Power BI dashboards, working with the wider finance team and the Investment and Development teams to create insightful BI dashboards and analysis
- Scoping new requirements - translating business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications by facilitating workshops and documenting and simplifying outputs where necessary to allow understanding across all stakeholders
What we're looking for
You'll have proven experience in a similar role as an Insight Analyst, ideally in the Real Estate, Property or Housing sectors. You will need strong PowerBI experience. You'll also have:
- Strong Analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Strong Stakeholder management skills with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in generating data led insights to support decision making
- Strong Data visualisation experience
- Previous experience working in the Real Estate Sector, Social Housing Sector or Housing Association Sector is desirable
