CLASS 1 HGV /LGV DRIVER - FULL TIME - PART TIME - WEEKENDS
Staffline is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client in Basingstoke.
Shifts available for both days and nights, 7 days a week.
Regular weekend work available.
PAYE only - pay rates are as follows:
- Early Mornings (04:00 - 09:59) - £19.43 per hour
- Days (10:00 - 17:59) - £20.16 per hour
- Nights (18:00 - 03:59) - £20.90 per hour
After 12 weeks PAYE rate increases to:
- Early Mornings (04:00 - 09:59) - £20.98 per hour
- Days (10:00 - 17:59) - £21.77 per hour
- Nights (18:00 - 03:59) - £22.57 per hour
- Overtime - up to £33.86 per hour
- No deduction for breaks
Your Time at Work
As an HGV 1 Driver, your work will involve the delivery of ambient, chilled and frozen product to store locations throughout the Midlands and South East using both artic and rigid vehicles. There is a minimal, but some manual labour required - full training will be given.
This site operates all year round, 24/7, and can provide long term ongoing assignments.
In return for your flexibility and commitment we can offer regular shifts - some weekend availability will be required.
Part time HGV drivers are also welcome to apply.
Our Perfect Worker
As a Class 1 Driver, you will have:
- Minimum 12 months HGV 'artic' driving experience with demonstrable reversing skills
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Digi card and DCPC
