Sonic Summary

Staffing Match is seeking 7.5 tonne / HGV 2 drivers for a long-term temp-to-perm position in Basingstoke starting in 2025.
The role offers shifts with a pay rate of £14.50 per hour PAYE or £17.81 per hour Umbrella, with a rota of 5 days on and 3 days off.
Candidates must possess a 7.5t licence, CPC, and Digi card, along with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work long hours.
A DBS and drug and alcohol test will be required prior to starting, with a clean driving record necessary (no more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications).

7.5t / HGV 2 Driver
Location: Basingstoke

Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our client based in Basingstone who are looking for 7.5 tonne / HGV 2 drivers to join them on a long term / temp to perm basis. Start your new job in 2025!

Shifts and pay rates as a 7.5t driver:
* Days 07.00am start until finish.
* Rota 5 days on 3 days off rolling. (requiring only 2 full weekends in an 8 week rotation)
* £14.50 p/h paye or 17.81 p/h Umbrella

Your responsibilities:
* Duties include driving a 7.5t vehicle, working with an experienced driver's mate or driver.
* 2-man crew delivery of goods to customers' homes or flats.
* Unloading goods and delivering to room of choice.
* Completing paperwork.
* Heavy lifting is involved.

About you:
* Have a 7.5t licence or above, CPC and Digi card.
* Have excellent customer service & communication skills.
* Be able to work long days as required. We cannot specify what time you will finish.
* You will need to have a DBS and drug and alcohol test before you start, we will arrange this.
* No more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications, no DR, DD, TT's or IN10's.
