Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: 48 hours per week, latest finish at 10pm

Join the team at a prestigious luxury manor house hotel set in the beautiful Hampshire countryside. We are looking for a talented, passionate, and highly skilled Sous Chef to assist with special events and weddings, working closely alongside the Head Chef to create exceptional dining experiences for our discerning guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes for special events, weddings, and banqueting functions.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Head Chef to ensure smooth operation in the kitchen, maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Manage kitchen staff and ensure efficient and professional service during high-volume events.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring the team maintains excellent standards of food preparation and hygiene.
  • Work independently when required, as well as within a collaborative team environment.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a premium background, ideally within a luxury hotel, fine dining, or high-end banqueting setting.
  • Strong experience and confidence in working with banqueting and large-scale events.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to leadership, with the ability to inspire and support your team.
  • Impeccable standards of food hygiene and health & safety.

Additional Requirements:

  • A vehicle is essential due to the remote location of the hotel and limited public transport access.
