As Sous Chef, you'll be a key part of the kitchen team, working alongside the Head Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
You'll play a vital role in:
- Crafting delicious and nutritious meals, catering to residents' individual preferences and dietary needs.
- Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, adhering to all regulations.
- Leading and mentoring the kitchen team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Managing stock control and ordering, minimising waste and optimising costs.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef, ideally within a care home or similar environment.
- A real passion for food and culinary excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and work flexibly.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Ability to commute to Basingstoke daily.
- Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
