Chef - Garden Centre Café (Basingstoke Area)
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (DOE)
Full Time | 08:00 - 16:30 | 5 days out of 7 (including alternate weekends)
We're looking for a passionate and talented Chef to join our friendly team at our popular garden centre café located on the outskirts of Basingstoke.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and delivering high-quality dishes in a welcoming, daytime-only environment - no late nights!
What we offer:
* Competitive salary (£28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience)
* Daytime working hours: 08:00 to 16:30
* A stable rota - 5 days out of 7 with alternate weekends
* A friendly and supportive working environment

What we're looking for:
* A confident chef with experience in a busy kitchen environment
* Someone passionate about food quality, presentation and consistency
* A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
* Good knowledge of health & safety and kitchen hygiene practices
* Experience with café or casual dining menus is a bonus
