*Predominantly daytime shifts but will include some evenings based on business needs
Job Description:
*As a key member of the team and working closely with the Head Chef, you will have an eye for detail ensuring all dishes are prepared to standard.
*Must have experience in delivering a daily menu with weekly specials and catering for events, golf societies and themed events.
*Teamwork, good interpersonal skills and sense of service and pride in your kitchen and food standards are fundamental.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Supporting Head Chef in maintaining standards and food quality,
*Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
*Daily preparation and delivery of high-quality fresh food.
*Make sure crockery and cutlery is always washed and available when required.
*Keep dishwasher and sink area clear and sanitised.
*Support delivery of Club Dinners and events.
*Knowledge of inventory control procedures, procurement and cost control.
*Knowledge of the practices, methods and procedures of food preparation, personal hygiene, food handling, sanitation and safety precautions.
Required Skills and Experience:
*You need a good hard-working attitude
*Must have previous experience as a chef to sous chef or senior chef de partie level.
*Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Own transport is required due to the location.
