We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join our client's team, specialising in both new and used car sales. This role is based in a state-of-the-art showroom in Basingstoke, where customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty are pivotal to success. As a Sales Executive, you will be at the forefront of the customer experience, building lasting relationships and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Engage with customers face-to-face, over the phone, and via the internet to manage enquiries and drive vehicle, finance, and insurance product sales.
  • Maintain supportive relationships with new and existing customers through regular contact.
  • Provide advice and guidance to finance customers approaching the end of their contracts, encouraging showroom appointments to discuss available options.
  • Respond to incoming queries with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Proactively seek out sales opportunities, especially during quieter periods.
  • Guide customers through the car purchase process, ensuring an outstanding service as a representative of our brand.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets by maximising upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the vehicle range and options through regular training.
  • Adhere to all industry regulations relating to vehicle, finance, and insurance sales.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a Franchised Main Dealership is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Articulate, numerate, and takes pride in personal presentation.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the confidence to convert enquiries into sales.
  • Ability to embrace and demonstrate new technologies with enthusiasm.
  • Valid Driving Licence.
