Our client, a leading provider in the relocation and removals industry, is seeking an experienced Removals Manager to lead and drive the success of multiple sites.

This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong leadership, sales management, and operational expertise within the removals, relocation, or logistics sector.

You will be responsible for managing a team across sales, coordination, and operations, ensuring revenue growth, operational efficiency, and exceptional service delivery.

To be successful, you must have experience in removals, relocation, logistics, or a related industry, along with a proven track record in managing sales teams, driving revenue, and improving operational processes. Strong leadership and customer service skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Drive revenue growth by developing local accounts and managing key business relationships.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve conversion targets and margin objectives.
  • Conduct monthly sales reviews, monitoring team performance and sales pipeline.
  • Oversee the coordination team to ensure a seamless customer journey from enquiry to move completion.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple sites, ensuring efficient workflow and service quality.
  • Monitor transport and logistics compliance, including vehicle servicing and tachograph adherence.
  • Conduct customer visits to ensure high service standards, resolving any shortfalls proactively.
  • Implement and maintain health & safety compliance, including regular audits and risk management.

Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing training, coaching, and regular performance reviews.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring targets are met for sales, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular branch meetings and monthly performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven managerial experience in removals, relocation, logistics, or a related industry.
  • Strong sales and business development background, with experience leading a sales team.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with a focus on driving revenue and margin improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and work in a fast-paced environment.
