Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of fabric and building services across our static site in Basingstoke. From ensuring compliance with health and safety standards to delivering efficient and effective solutions, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance tasks on fabric and building services equipment.
  • Responding promptly and efficiently to reactive maintenance requests.
  • Identifying and rectifying faults in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
  • Undertaking minor installations and repairs as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and external contractors to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a facilities management environment.
  • Strong knowledge of fabric maintenance techniques and building services.
  • Relevant qualifications in fabric engineering or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
