About the Role:
As a Principal Pipelines Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering technical leadership on worldwide projects. You will be part of a collaborative engineering team, focusing on the design and execution of both onshore and offshore rigid pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead engineering design activities for pipelines across all project phases, from Concept Selection to Execution.
Manage and direct a team of engineers and designers, ensuring high-quality pipeline work.
Supervise and review project deliverables, including specifications, mechanical design, and stress analysis.
Collaborate with CAD designers to create layouts and project drawings.
Prepare technical requisitions and perform bid evaluations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Validate inspection and maintenance strategies and perform site visits as required.
Ensure adherence to HSEQ policies and keep up with industry standards and legislation.
Who You Are:
You have extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry, specifically with rigid offshore and onshore pipelines.
Proficient in pipeline design software (e.g., DNVGL, AutoPipe) with a desire to learn and grow.
Knowledgeable in UK and international specifications and codes (BS, DNV, ISO, API, ASME).
A motivated team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and strong organisational abilities.
Qualifications:
Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (e.g., Pipeline Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Mechanical Engineering).
