I am working with a great civil engineering consultancy based in the Basingstoke area to recruit a senior civil design engineer to join their growing team. You will be part of a collaborative team that delivers high quality projects for clients, these will mainly be based around highways and drainage for residential developments.
You will be working alongside technicians, engineers and principle engineers, learning from some and guiding others. We are looking for the senior design engineer to have experience with MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, PDS, Site 3D and AutoCAD.
You will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues alike. You will be a company representative on client sites, project meetings and public meetings.
Key requirements / responsibilities
- Provide technical design skills working in a team in the delivery of a range of projects, involving highways, civil, drainage and flood, alleviation schemes
- Working knowledge of MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, PDS, Site 3D and Autocad
- Build and maintain good client relationships and maintain client confidence
Ideally we are looking for the senior design engineer to have 5 years experience in the sector, have relevant industry qualification and have worked in a consultancy environment.
