A Senior Civil Engineer is needed for a 3-6 month contract with a salary of £40-£50 per hour.
The role involves managing engineers and technicians while carrying out detailed design work for drainage and flood projects.
Candidates should have experience in designing surface and foul water drainage, as well as preparing drainage and road design packages for various agreements.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Site3D, and Micro Drainage is required, along with the ability to work to deadlines.
Applicants should have a minimum of several years of relevant experience in civil engineering.

3-6 month Senior Civils Engineer needed (£40-£50pph)

I am working with a fantastic Civils consultancy looking to grow their Drainage and flood team 10 fold! In the meantime, due to work commitments they are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join on a3-6 month contract.

The key duties of the Civil Engineer will include and are not limited to:

Project Engineer on projects
Managing Engineers, Technicians and Graduate Engineers
Carry out detailed design work and drawing production. This will include the ability to design

- main surface and foul water drainage design in accordance with Sewers for Adoption;

- SuDS features to relevant standards and good practice (CIRIA 753);

- Domestic Drainage to Part H

- Detailed external levels design around plots and external areas to Part M;

Preparation of drainage and road design packages for S104, S38 and S278 Agreements respectively, including liaising with the relevant drainage or highway Authority as necessary to obtain technical approval.
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Site3D and Micro Drainage
Work to deadlines (deliverables).

Day to day project liaison and coordination with other Design Team Members and Client;
Attendance at meetings
