A leading business operating in the construction engineering market is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join the team in the Basingstoke area.Your RoleWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Designing both temporary and permanent geotechnical structures
  • Creating designs for structural and civil schemes as well as giving input into schemes from other disciplines, ensuring these are reviewed and checked
  • Undertaking extensive surveys and inspections of geotechnical structures
  • Preparing reports based off of the findings from these investigations
  • Ensuring feasibility is understood
  • Working on project programmes as needed
  • Supervising and, where needed, training junior members of the team
You MUST HavePlease apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • A degree within either Engineering or a relevant other qualification
  • Ideally, 5+ years of experience within a comparable role, undertaking similar duties
  • Good knowledge of engineering software
  • Possession of a full UK driving license, and it would be ideal to own your own transport
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Right to work within the UK
