- The Role: Routine water sampling, deadleg removal, fault finding and rectification, CWST cleans and disinfections, TMV testing, servicing, installing and replacement, closed system sampling and analysis, dosing closed systems, calorifier inspections, showerhead descales, flushing and replacing of outlets, pipework removal and replacement, working in line with guidelines, completing onsite logbooks.
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire.

Our client is an independent and professional provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services in the South of England. They are now looking to take on an experienced and qualified Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer. You will be joining their established team, ensuring to carry out Water Hygiene / Remedial duties in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. You will be covering Commercial, Educational, Industrial and Public Sector sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality L8 compliance services to their longstanding clients, ensuring to maintain the company's reputation and high standards.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Alton, Winchester, Eastleigh, Fareham, Portsmouth, Southampton, Gosport, Bournemouth, Poole, Dorchester, Blandford Forum, Weymouth, Sailsbury, Andover, Malbrough, Devizes, Chippenham, Swindon.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher is essential to the role.
" Extensive experience working hands on for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company, working as an engineer / remedial plumber.
" Extensive up to date knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Will always be professional and polite on site.
" Able to manage workload in line with company and client needs.
The Role:
" Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
" Deadleg removal.
" Visiting site to carry out fault finding, ensuring to rectify issues in a timely manner.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" TMV testing, servicing, installing and replacement,
" Closed system sampling and analysis.
" Dosing closed systems with correct chemicals.
" Calorifier inspections.
" Carrying out checks on plumbing work, signing off on work that is completed.
" Showerhead descales.
" Flushing and replacing of outlets.
" Removal, replacement, and rerouting of copper and PVC pipework.
" Showerhead descales and disinfections.
" Working in line with HGS 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Ensuring to complete onsite logbooks.
