Commercial Manager Role:
A major highways project with a Tier 1 main contractor who are seeking a Commercial Manager. The main contractor is one of the leading engineering companies in the UK specialising in highways projects and currently turning over more than 600m per annum.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a leading contractor on an extraordinary project.
Responsibilities (but not limited to) fopr Commercial Manager:
- Maximise cash flow through timely preparation of valuations, submissions of invoice and receipt of payment
- Develop a strategy for concluding client negotiations
- Monitor resources and costs to ensure that projects meet and or exceed targets
- Produce accurate and timely CVR reports, forecasts and contributes toward the setting of financial targets
- Carry out early value engineering activities ensuring all associated costs of change are included within the evaluation
Requirements for Commercial Manager:
- Quantity Surveying Degree-qualified or equivalent
- Experience working as a Commercial Manager or a Managing Quantity Surveyor on infrastructure projects. Experience on highways frameworks or projects will be advantageous.
- Ideally a member of RICS
- Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
