Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team, covering properties across the Hampshire area. In this role, you'll be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance and installation work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering excellent customer service to our residents. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive team and make a real difference to the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical repairs and installations in residential properties.
- Perform scheduled electrical inspections and testing to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify the root cause and provide timely solutions.
- Work closely with our maintenance team and residents to ensure all jobs are completed efficiently and safely.
- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Respond to emergency electrical faults and repairs as required.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the work environment at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with residents.
Skills & Experience:
- Level 3 City & Guilds in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (or up-to-date equivalent).
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in social housing or residential maintenance.
- Full UK driving license (van and fuel provided).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within electrical work.
