About the Role
Actio Recruitment is seeking a skilledPCB Assemblerto join our client's electronics manufacturing team based near Basingstoke. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established company, assembling high-quality electronic products for a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) to company and industry standards.
- Solder components (through-hole and surface mount) using both manual and automated processes.
- Inspect and test assembled PCBs for defects, ensuring quality control.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Work with a variety of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, ICs, and connectors.
- Identify and rectify assembly faults, reworking PCBs when necessary.
- Follow health and safety regulations in the workplace.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing.
- Proficiency in soldering techniques (both hand and wave soldering).
- Ability to work with fine-pitch components and follow precise instructions.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards (desirable but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
