An excellent, award winning Basingstoke-based company seeks a Network Engineer / Firewall Engineer – for a varied role within a dynamic SME environment.
The Role
This is a great opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level Network Engineer keen to focus on Network Security, to join an innovative Basingstoke-based Managed Service Provider at the forefront of technology. An enquiring mind partnered with a passion for troubleshooting/problem-solving networking / security / firewall issues is required, as the successful Network Engineer will be working in a talented team of Engineers to deliver customer-facing network solutions.
The successful Network Engineer will be able to work on a hybrid working basis (minimum of 2 days onsite), after the successful completion of a probationary period.

What do I need?
- Solid support experience, with knowledge of general networking - routers/switches - CCNA preferred
- Some experience of supporting and troubleshooting firewalls - my client primarily focuses on Palo-Alto and Forcepoint firewalls, but also has Cisco ASAs, Stormshields, Sophos and Watchguard firewalls that they support
- Customer-facing support experience - especially from an MSP or ISP - would be highly-beneficial
