Our client is looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer to join their team. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between intricate product specifications and customer needs. The Technical Sales Engineer’s focus will be on building strong relationships, providing exceptional support, and ensuring seamless communication. Having 3-5 years of experience in CNC machining and precision manufacturing, this Technical Sales Engineer role is for a well-established and respected firm.

Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
•    Provide technical support and advice to customers.
•    Collaborate closely with engineering teams and the production manager to meet customer requirements.
Customer Service:
•    Oversee the entire sales process, from initial contact to after-sales support.
•    Coordinate with the production manager to ensure timely product delivery.
•    Keep customers informed about order status and any delivery date changes.
•    Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution.
•    Occasionally visit customers.
Sales Administration:
•    Prepare customer quotations.
•    Process sales orders.
•    Handle internal contract review documentation.
•    Maintain confidentiality and adhere to NDA agreements.
Other Duties:
•    Coordinate with internal teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
•    Relay customer feedback to inform product improvements.
•    Liaise with various internal departments on behalf of customers.
•    Lead sales meetings and represent the sales department in production and project discussions.
•    Occasionally represent the company at exhibitions and external events.

Education & Experience:
•    GCSEs in Maths and English (grades C/5 or above)
•    Preferred: Apprenticeship or Qualification in Engineering
•    3-5 years of experience in CNC machining and precision manufacturing
