My well established client is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Family Assistant to join their team. In this critical role, you will be an integral part of their family law department, ensuring the seamless management and execution of various administrative and client-focused tasks. Your contribution will help continually provide excellent service to their clients and maintain the department's efficient operations.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Efficiently manage diaries and ensure all court hearings and directions are actioned on time.
  • Collaborate with clients and legal professionals to prepare and amend necessary legal documents, including financial statements and hearing bundles.
  • Handle initial client queries related to fees, and oversee the preparation and processing of department billing in consultation with fee earners.
  • Maintain the prompt processing of new enquiries and regular updates on case status via the Court Portal.
  • Ensure compliance with legal practice requirements and department administrative processes, including organising departmental meetings and dictations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, counsel, and other legal entities across various platforms.
  • Proven ability to multitask and handle complex administrative duties within a legal context.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to manage credit control and ensure compliance with hearing bundle regulations.
