Part-time, 12 month fixed term contract

Basingstoke, office based

Reassured Ltd is the largest non-advised life insurance intermediary in the UK with established locations in Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Southampton, Manchester, Bristol and Chester.

We launched our new Advised business offering in 2021 and continue to grow our sales and support teams across the entire business this year. We arrange over 15,000 new customer life insurance policies per month with leading sales conversions and customer satisfaction metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with and complete the set up of new starters on PeopleHR system and maintain the employee records folders.
  • Ensure the correct right to work paperwork is received for all new starters such as passports, birth certificates and are saved to employee file and People HR system. Chase any outstanding right to work and sharecodes and liaise with People Partners.
  • Support with processing & checking employment offers and contracts as required.
  • Undertake employment reference checks for all new starters via email and telephone, update new starter tracker and save to employee file.
  • Liaise with new starters and employees to obtain any additional reference detail or personal information to ensure the new starter packs can be processed for sign off.
  • Complete reference requests for ex employees and landlords within the agreed timeframe.
  • Follow up on employee absences, ensuring all return to work interviews are completed and documents returned, data added to PeopleHR system and saved to employee records.
  • Produce probation letters on receipt of signed probation forms and update PeopleHR system.
  • Make up and despatch welcome packs for new starters of chocolates & cards.
  • Ensure all L&D advisors have sufficient stationery for induction training and organise replenishment.
  • Book hotels & trains for new starters in induction training and issue confirmation to Recruiter/ hiring managers.
  • Data cleansing of employee records and retention of records in accordance with legislation.
  • Respond to any emails sent to the HR mailbox within the defined SLA timescales escalating any out of line situations to the relevant manager.
  • Provide administrative support to People Administration team with ad hoc queries as and when requested by People Administration Team Leader.
  • Support to wider Team People with administrative activities as required.

Essential Skills

Qualifications
