Finance Director

This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Finance in an education provider who is eager to lead and grow an accounting & finance department.

Description

• Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
• Coordinate, analyse and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required).
• Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
• Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms performance.
• Develop, mentor and manage a small finance team.

Profile

A successful Finance Director should have:

• A degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experience.
• Fully Qualified Accountant ( ACA,ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
• Demonstrable tenure in your current or previous companies showing progression
• Excellent strategic planning skills in the finance sector.
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
• Proficiency in analysing financial data and must be able to prepare financial reports, statements and projections.

This role may suit a Financial Controller/ Head of Finance looking for the next step.

You must show you have been with your company, or previous company, for a good amount of time.
