This would be the top spot reporting in to a visionary CEO, and a leadership group that has vast experience of the motor sport industry. With an experienced FC in place, your key focus would be to drive profitability, develop commercial opportunities, manage cost, lead operational teams (HR, IT, legal) and the relationships with the investor group.
Duties:
- Monitor and assist in implementation of Business planning, budgeting, and reporting by developing financial, treasury & tax strategies and processes
- Cash flow forecasting and management of working capital
- Financial risk management and insurance
- Product and Project Pricing to customers
- Manage the Finance team for the group
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external advisers
- Ensure Compliance with tax legislation and tax planning
- Provide strong support to the Group CFO and CEO in respect of key financial decision making and implementation of such decisions Information Technology
- Lead the management and maintenance of the companies IT systems and global standard applications, including cost control. This includes the ERP system
- Work with key stakeholders across the company to manage and maintain all IT applications and needs of the Company Legal and Company Secretarial
- Oversee the legal compliance of the Company and the adherence to high business conduct
- Become a Director of various corporate entities as required Human Resources and Talent Management
- Overall responsibility for HR compliance and Talent management, in close collaboration with UK-based HR Lead
What my client needs:
- A qualified accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
- Commercial acumen and proven experience of driving profitability
- Ideally hands on experience with a growing business
- Not essential, but an understanding of complex manufacturing would be a benefit
- A "go getter" mentality!
