Finance Manager

£65-75k plus bonus

Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to partner with an international business in the recruitment of a qualified and enthusiastic Finance Manager to support the global finance team.

Managing a sizeable team within a complex and data centric environment, this is a great opportunity to join a highly respected lobal business with solid career development opportunities within the wider business and would suit an ambitious and driven candidate with strong people management skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading key business relationships, ensuring consistent service performance reviews and progress tracking; playing a pivotal role in establishing metrics, gathering feedback, and implementing actionable plans to drive improvement.
  • Championing financial controls and audit compliance, identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and recommending process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Motivating and supporting the team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and opportunities for professional development.
  • Overseeing accurate and timely period-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure adherence to internal and external policies. Ensuring compliance will be a key focus, as well as driving operational excellence.
  • Working closely with leadership to shape and deliver a robust process improvement roadmap.

About you:

  • Experience of leading and developing a large team ideally within in a shared services role for a global or multi entity business.
  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with solid post qualified experience.
  • Strong experience of month-end close processes & streamlining to drive efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of R2R processes and experience with complex financial systems.
  • Experience & knowledge of process improvement with practical application within previous roles
  • Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with senior business stakeholders.
