Are you a skilled and driven Chartered Accountant with a passion for financial reporting and leadership? We’re looking for a dynamic Financial Accounting Manager to join our Basingstoke clients Finance Leadership team.  As the Financial Accounting Manager, you’ll play a senior role within the Finance Leadership Team, driving financial accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting. You'll also manage budget forecasts, financial risk, and internal control procedures, ensuring alignment with the new Group structures post-sale.  Your leadership will be key in ensuring the integrity of financial control while providing financial guidance to the wider Leadership Team. What will the Financial Accounting Manager role involve?
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, FRS, and IFRS for all Group entities.
- Lead financial reporting and disclosure, providing training and clear guidance to teams.
- Champion internal controls, auditing processes, and day-to-day financial management.
- Oversee the activities of the Financial Accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure effective financial systems and processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external auditors, ensuring smooth audits.
- Work alongside outsourced providers and support the setup of new entities.
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accounting Manager vacancy:
- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA) with strong IFRS knowledge. US GAAP knowledge is a plus.
- Experience: Strong technical accounting skills, experience with multi-entity close processes, and familiarity with SAP ByD.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong Excel skills; Power BI knowledge a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and drive change.
