Head of Finance ControllersBasingstoke£120K per annum

Our client is seeking a Head of Finance Controller to join their team in Basingstoke. Working closely with the CFO and supporting the Financial Controllers throughout Europe you will supervise the existing team of country controllers developing the Group Financial Planning & Analysis function and managing exciting group wide projects. You will:

  • Develop and manage the country controllers
  • Coach the country controllers throughout Europe in developing their business acumen skills, their business-related analysis skills and their impact
  • Develop reliability and accuracy of reforecasts throughout the year
  • Manage quarterly estimates management
  • Develop new analyses in our monthly reporting, notably related to our operational performance in our various services segments
  • Contribute to further strengthening group processes to better monitor the business
  • Develop and improve group yearly budget process
  • Develop analyses on the performance of our various business segments
  • Design and propose country-based action plan focussed on key strategic and operational priorities in order to further improve performance

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a can-do attitude
  • Be reliable and methodical in your approach
  • Have experience managing teams remotely, throughout Europe
  • Have previous experience of building good working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Be a team player with an excellent sense of humour
  • Be organised and professional with the ability to multi-task
  • Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a Finance role in a challenging environment,
  • Be a self-starter, result driven with the ability to work independently and to remain calm under pressure
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have Advanced Excel skills and ideally knowledge of Power BI

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. European Travel will be required. This is a hybrid role, 3 days working in the office.
