About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Foundation Teacher (EYFS, Year R) to join our schools in Basingstoke. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to make a significant impact on the learning and development of Reception Class pupils. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, creating an engaging learning environment, and fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages students to achieve their full potential.

Working part time,t his school is looking for someone for two terms, 3 days a week. Ideally Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with PPA time provided on Friday afternoons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective lessons that meet the national curriculum guidelines for EYFS
  • Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with specific educational needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student's overall development.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Ideally experience teaching EYFS or Key Stage 1.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
