Job Title: AV Engineer / LED Technician
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company van, fuel card, healthcare, pension
Job Purpose Summary:
The AV Engineer will primarily involve carrying out the installation and commissioning of LED a digital signage displays within the UK and overseas where required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onsite installation and commissioning of LED displays
- Configuration of media servers (Novastar, Brompton, Colorlight)
- Assemble AV rack equipment on site
- Supervise subcontractors during installations
- Assist in project documentation for handover to service team
- Provide training to installation partners and customers
- Troubleshoot LED systems onsite and remotely as needed
- Assist in customer product demo setup and troubleshooting
Experience and Skills Required:
- Prior experience as an AV Engineer with direct LED digital signage knowledge.
- Proven experience with media servers such as Colorlight, Brompton and Novastar.
- Understanding of construction and AV System drawings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel and work away from home up to 50% of the time
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including cold/hot weather, small spaces and at height.
- Work occasional nights and weekends
- Full UK Driving Licence - Valid
