Dalton Recruitment is looking for a Compensation Analyst to join a national business and take responsibility for supporting the company in developing, managing and administering a robust compensation and benefits policy, providing key data and analysis to ensure that employee packages are competitive, equitable and in line with the relevant market conditions.

This is a permanent opportunity with a salary up to £55,000 (depending on experience) + 10% bonus + benefits

With a strong analytical mindset gained in previous Compensation & Benefits or Total Reward roles and with the support of a Reward Analyst the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the HR function with responsibilities including:

  • All annual reward cycle processes e.g., annual pay review, annual bonus, LTIP etc.
  • All benefit provisions e.g., private medical insurance, pension, long service awards, salary sacrifice schemes etc.
  • Grading methodology and matrix
  • KPI’s for the UK business as well as Group reporting
  • HR tools including Talentsoft, SAP, Zellis (reporting/dashboard)
  • Policies & procedures linked to compensation & benefits including Reward & Recognition schemes e.g., employee of the month
  • Maintain & develop the client’s brand and develop initiatives to drive their profile in the market.
  • Supporting employee development through various programme setups/monitoring
  • Analyse, review and recommend changes to compensation and benefits in the UK
  • Lead the benchmarking, research, and analysis of compensation & benefit programs
  • Identify trends and emerging legislation
  • Ensure plans remain compliant, market competitive & fit for purpose.
  • Consider appropriate courses of action including pros & cons
  • Make recommendations, prepare business cases and cost projections to support recommendations.
  • To support in the provision of data for monthly/annual reporting including remuneration statements, bonus/commission, minimum wage, salary reviews, gender pay reporting etc.
  • Deliver key people performance/metrics indicator reports for business managers for inclusion in business reports to include statistical data, charts and trends

Reporting directly into the HR Director, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to broaden their Reward experience in a semi-autonomous position and have responsibility for developing the way the organisation remunerates its staff in the future.

The position is offered on a full time, permanent basis with four days per week based in the Basingstoke HQ and one day working from home.

Knowledge and skills required to be considered include:

  • 2 years’ experience in a Reward/Compensation & Benefits role
  • Familiarity with a variety of reward concepts, practises and procedures
  • Experience of working with IT systems and Data Management
  • Enhanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to achieve deadlines.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals.
  • Excellent numeric skills.
  • Experience of Talent soft would be an advantage.
