We are currently seeking a PSV Technician / PSV Fitter on behalf of our Client, an Automotive National Bus / HGV / Coach Business based in the Basingstoke area.The successful PSV Technician / PSV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £44,000 with working hours of 40 Hours per Week - Mixture Of Early / Core / Late Shifts On A 5 Week Rota.Our Client is looking for a PSV Technician / PSV Fitter to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.Typical Duties of a PSV Technician for our client include, but are not limited to:
  • Repairing and maintaining our client's fleet of over 400 modern buses and coaches to a high standard including Dennis Eagle, Volvo and Optare.
  • Carrying out preventative and proactive maintenance in line with company policies.
  • Carrying out roadside and running repairs as and when necessary.
  • If you have the relevant experience, helping supervise a team of staff including Maintenance/Service Fitters, Coach Builders, Electricians, Cleaners/Shunters, Clerks, stores personnel and contractors.
  • Be responsible for our client's premises, plant and equipment.
  • Adhering to Health & Safety policies.
Requirements of this PSV Technician vacancy:
  • Previous working experience within the role
  • Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge
  • A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
