We are seeking a Course Director for GCSE English at FE college based in Basingstoke. This pivotal role involves providing professional leadership and management to ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning outcomes for all students in the GCSE English department.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage and oversee the GCSE English courses.
- Lead and coordinate the course team to ensure excellence in service to learners and associated curriculum.
- Inspire staff to be innovative in all aspects of teaching and learning.
- Maintain a focus on continuous improvement in teaching standards and student success.
- Address current issues and challenges within further education with flexibility and expertise.
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- A degree or equivalent that is vocationally relevant.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Extensive teaching/training experience, including assessment and verification experience.
- Familiarity with the challenges and current issues in further education is ideal.
