Paediatric Dietitan- Band 6

Location: Basingstoke

At least 1 year paediatric experience is required. 3 Days remote, 2 days on site. General paediatrics. To cover general ward and clinics.

Working Hours : 37.5hours

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Paediatric Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The Paediatric Dietitian will work closely with children, families, and healthcare providers to develop tailored nutrition plans that support healthy growth, development, and management of various medical conditions in infants, children, and adolescents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paediatric nutrition, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to helping young patients achieve optimal health through proper diet and lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Assessment and Nutrition Planning:

    • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for infants, children, and adolescents, evaluating dietary habits, medical history, and developmental needs.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans tailored to each child's specific health conditions, dietary needs, and growth requirements.
    • Assess and monitor patients' growth patterns, feeding skills, and nutritional status to adjust dietary plans as needed.
