Flexible Supply Teacher – Basingstoke, Hampshire

GSL Education are looking for Flexible Supply Teachers to work across secondary schools in Basingstoke. With a pay rate of £120 to £140 per day, you can start immediately or at a time that suits you. This role offers full flexibility, allowing you to choose between 1 to 5 days per week to fit around your schedule. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain varied teaching experience without the responsibilities of planning and marking.

Responsibilities of a Flexible Supply Teacher:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in various subjects.
• Provide high-quality teaching and maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Adapt to different schools and classroom settings with confidence.
• Manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
• Engage and inspire students to learn in a supportive manner.

Required Qualifications for a Flexible Supply Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong classroom management skills and adaptability.
• Passion for education and supporting student development.
• Ability to work independently and confidently in different school environments.
• A commitment to fostering student well-being and personal development.
• A collaborative and proactive approach to working with colleagues.
• Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
