We are seeking a dedicated Maths GCSE Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The role involves teaching GCSE learners who are resitting their exams. This position is ideal for someone who is immediately available or can start in January, with the potential to become a permanent member of our team after May.
Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare and deliver engaging maths lessons to GCSE learners who are resitting their exams.
- Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback to help them improve.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
- Prepare students for qualifications and external examinations.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
- Must hold a recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at GCSE level.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and exam standards.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
