The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing key accounts and driving business development for a range of industrial automation, including bearings, actuators, couplings, gearboxes, linear motion products via end-user channels and OEM customers across the South of the UK (M3 corridor)
The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling mechanical engineering products into a production manufacturer. Full product training provided.

- Selling industrial automation products and services across various industries, targeting both end-user channels and OEM customers.
- Managing key accounts and driving business development for a range of industrial automation, including bearings, actuators, couplings, gearboxes, linear motion products via end-user channels and OEM customers across the South of the UK (M3 corridor)
- Maintaining new industrial automation product sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
- Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Remote based covering the South of the UK (M3 corridor)
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer or similar within mechanical engineering.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a global engineering manufacturer.
- Experience selling a technical engineering product with a preference to mechanical engineering products, bearings, actuators, couplings, gearboxes, linear motion products ,or similar mechanical engineering products
- A technical mechanical engineering qualification or degree is advantageous
- Experience selling mechanical engineering products into a production manufacturer. Full product training provided.
- Regular customer visits, developing sales and account managing existing accounts for industrial automation products including bearings, actuators, couplings, gearboxes,linear motion products and more.
- Remote based covering the South of the UK (M3 corridor).
