Senior Project Manager - Active DV Clearance Required

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Defence and National Security Business Unit. In this pivotal role, you will manage complex IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are executed successfully and meet all requirements related to time, quality, and budget. This role involves medium complexity, and risk projects and requires reporting to the Programme Manager.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage the delivery of IT infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with our standard Project- and Program approach.
  • Define project requirements and manage the agreement process with the Project Board or appointed project assurance role.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and business lines to ensure project acceptance, closedown, and handover to service.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and report project Key Performance Indicators to the Senior Project Manager or Project Board.
  • Manage project risks, including the production of effective plans and risk assessments to ensure project timelines and costs are well understood and agreed upon by all parties.
  • Ensure formal review procedures are used and manage the financial aspects of the project, including tracking costs and supporting Business Units in meeting payment milestones.
  • Ensure milestone achievements are signed off by the customer and that relevant invoices are raised.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure projects, preferably within the Defence & National Security sector.
  • Familiarity with various project management methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, and Safe.
  • Strong capability in scope and financial management within complex project environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage complex environments and challenging stakeholders.
  • Experience in delivering transformation projects and managing the full project lifecycle.
  • Ability to integrate financial data for multiple projects and ensure visibility of the impact on Business Line Profit & Loss.
