Telco Senior Project Manager

Your new companyA reputable telecommunications client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the wider team. Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented professional with a passion for project management and business analysis? Client's B2B engineering department as a contract Senior Project Manager and play a pivotal role in the B2B LIFE project. You will be responsible for project management and assisting in requirements capture, ensuring the successful development of an enhanced B2B Lifecycle Management tool (LIFE).Your new role

• Requirements Analysis - own the requirements and work with the Dev team to ensure they are delivered
• Put RAID and processes in life for BAU running of the tool - ensure all relevant stakeholders are engaged and sign up to what they need to do to keep LIFE data up-to-date
• Project Governance: Lead the project from initiation to closure, ensuring all relevant teams are engaged, and internal processes are followed meticulously.
• Project Planning & Timeline Management: Create and manage comprehensive project plans and timelines to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Task Management: Oversee project tasks, including Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID), Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI), and Lessons Learnt.
• Budget Management: Manage the project budget, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
• Progress Reporting: Provide detailed weekly written reports and conduct periodic stakeholder calls to keep all parties informed of project progress.

• Budget: Approved and project code in place.
• Requirements: Written and documented.
• Next Steps: Project kick-off and engagement of delivery stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proficiency in Jira for task and project management and Confluence for documentation.
• Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) / Agile environment, with familiarity in PI Planning and working in sprints.
• Proven experience in project management and business analysis, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong understanding of B2B lifecycle management tools and processes.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
