This local, independent organisation is wishing to recruit an Account Coordinator who is seeking a busy and demanding role. The Account Coordinator will be responsible for building strong business relationships with customers and will ensure that orders are depatched and delivered within the allocated time frames. This is a full time, office based position and the ideal candidate will be self motivated and driven.

Duties

  • Processing orders for all brands using a new WMS system for the daily dispatches. Updating the order statuses and providing automatic feedback to brands of their dispatches using the WMS system.
  • Provide warehouse with "dispatch ready" details of all orders and liaise with warehouse on the day’s activities.
  • Make a record of all daily dispatches. Interact with all brands through email, phone, live chat or social media and handle all stock and order queries. Process billing information for weekly dispatches on all food brands.
  • Manage the delivery of in-coming stock - know which brands are bringing in new stock and what date. Be information ready on what stock is coming in and ensure prior to stock arrival there is sufficient storage solutions available for new stock and stock rotation. Liaise with warehouse on the delivery dates and ensure delivery notes match stock arrival. Report any stock discrepancies to Brands and update the stock details on the WMS system.
  • Support warehouse and the team - assist workers in the warehouse when necessary to help fulfil orders e.g.pick and pack orders, assemble boxes etc.,
  • Maintain files and records with effective filing systems
  • Assist in Brand relationship management
  • Support other staff members whenever necessary including warehouse support.
  • Adhoc duties as and when required.

Skills

  • Communication: You will have excellent communication skills, from talking on the phone to typing emails. You should demonstrate clear, direct and cordial messages to maintain strong relationships with co-workers and customers.
  • Attention to detail: Stock movement, rotation, managing deliveries and over 30 brands requires due diligence, care and attention. The reporting mechanics of how to monitor and maintain systems is key - this role requires a deeply organised, methodical mind to ensure maximum efficiency in all operational activity to maximise warehouse space and minimise error.
  • Listening:You must be able to listen to customers and fellow team members. Customers may describe complex problems, share detailed time-lines and otherwise communicate information that you will need to listen to carefully and act on independently.
  • Patience: Demonstrating patience with every customer will help make both their experience and yours more enjoyable. It can also help you resolve a customer’s issue quicker.
  • Problem-solving:You will need to solve problems daily. Sometimes these are small issues, such as connecting a customer to another team member. Other times, they are larger issues that may take a longer time to resolve. A strong associate will be able to quickly understand the customer’s problem and propose the best solution.
  • Computer skills:You will conduct most of your work at a MAC computer using Office 365. General computer knowledge is a strong skill requirement. All order based activity is via cloud systems.
  • Social Media: A knowledge of social media is beneficial, to help market and promote activities throughout the year - though not essential.
