An experienced Purchasing Coordinator is required to join a dynamic organisation based in Basingstoke. This role involves overseeing core operational areas including inventory management, purchasing, and quality control. The successful candidate will be responsible for forecasting and forward planning of stock, ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet business demands.

In addition, the role will include the production of detailed reports to support operational decisions and maintain efficiency across the supply chain. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong organisational and analytical skills, looking to contribute to a fast-paced and supportive working environment.

This is a full-time, office based role working Monday to Friday.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Report movement of stock to head office on a monthly basis
  • Manage order placement with head office and suppliers
  • Work closely with the sales team to gather demand forecast information on stock
  • Check and liaise with all relevant teams and different parts of operations to gather and follow up the order details such as artwork, order chasing, etc
  • Liaise with the organisations, factories and other offices as required
  • Control and supervise transfer shipments between multiple locations and all related operations in a timely manner
  • Run and review various reports in order to monitor inventory levels
  • Set up and maintain item details on the system
  • Create and update the technical documentation including Test Reports, Bill of Materials, Declaration of Conformity, technical files etc
  • Involve checking the product quality with product development team and warehouse, reporting to the factory if there is any quality issue
