Legal Secretary/PA Requirements:• Proven experience as a Legal Secretary/PA at senior level (ideally 3+ years in a Legal firm)• Excellent knowledge of legal terminology and documentation• Proficiency in MS Office and legal software• Highly organised and able to prioritise with strong communication skills• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively• Fast and accurate typing skills of 60 wpm with dictation experience
Legal Secretary/PA Responsibilities:• Diary management and liaising with clients• Assisting fee earners with business development - drafting and filing confidential documents and expenses• Managing and organizing legal correspondence and documentation - preparing invoices, completion statements and assisting with billing and payment processes (audio experience desirable)• Coordinating appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements• Providing administrative support to legal professionals - file opening, giving quotes and sending out quote letters, scanning, photocopying and filing, managing email correspondence • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion• Ensuring the smooth running of the department and assisting with general compliance
