Paralegal – Corporate and Commercial

Location: Basingstoke

Are you a motivated and experienced Paralegal looking to develop your career in Corporate and Commercial Law?

As part of the Corporate and Commercial team, you’ll be working with a leading solicitor with experience at top international firms. The firm offers a supportive and collaborative environment where innovation is encouraged and everyone has a voice in shaping the future of the firm.

You must have 2 years Corporate and Commercial Law experience in order to apply for this role, otherwise your application will not be considered.

As a Paralegal in the Corporate and Commercial team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting corporate and commercial agreements
  • Updating company books and statutory registers, including filings with Companies House
  • Conducting legal research to support cases
  • Handling administrative tasks such as client due diligence and file management
  • Attending client meetings (both in person and remote)
  • Providing timely client updates and maintaining strong relationships
  • Liaising with external professionals, including counsel and financial advisors
  • Assisting with due diligence, document management and data rooms
  • Supporting the team with billing and time recording

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong academic background (LPC or equivalent qualification preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with MS Office and legal research tools (LexisNexis, Practical Law)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • A proactive approach to learning and using new legal technologies
