Alecto Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join one of the biggest Accident Repair Bodyshops in the UK, based at their Basingstoke site.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately assessing vehicle damage to determine repair costs
Preparing detailed damage reports using the latest estimating software
Liaising with customers, insurance companies, and technicians to ensure smooth workflow
Ensuring all assessments comply with industry standards and health & safety regulations
Monitoring repair progress and providing updates to relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within an accident repair environment
Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, repair methods, and estimating software (e.g., Audatex)
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
Relevant qualifications in Vehicle Damage Assessment are advantageous
