This is an excellent oppotunity to join a growing company in their well-equipped workshop in Basingstoke, on a full-time permanent basis.Forklift Engineer Responsibilities:- Perform electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance and repair on forklift trucks and material handling equipment.- Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.- Travel to customer sites for servicing and repairs when required- Accurately document all work completed- Support other team members in the workshop and around site when requiredForklift Engineer Requirements:- Proven electrical and mechanical engineering experience- Experience working in a similar role- Excellent electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills- Engineering qualification: A minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent- Proficiency in using, repairing, and maintaining machines and tools- Full driving license and your own vehicleForklift Engineer Package:- Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm- Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience- Attractive company pension scheme- Sick pay- 20 holidays plus bank holidays- Private medical insurance- Free parking spaceIf you are interested in this Forklift Engineer position and have the necessary skill-set, please apply with an up to date CV or contact Lily at Pertemps Basingstoke
