Trainee TechnicianOur Basingstoke Based client are looking for a Trainee Service Technician to join their team. The Trainee Service Technician will, after training completion, be responsible for carrying out service works on Cryogenic pump parts. Data management will also be a responsibility within this role. Salary- £13.30 per hourBenefits* Monday- Friday, 08:00 - 16:00* 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays * Enhanced pension opportunity* Flexible working* Opportunity to join private medical and dental after probation period * Employee assistance programme * Free on-site parking Duties* After training completion, carrying out service work on cold heads and compressors* Organising work flow for the department* Record and store test data* Writing detailed service reports, following from service/corrective work carried out on customer units* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the workshop* Maintain records for services, materials, drawings, * and proceduresSkills* Computer literacy.* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.* Good communication and interpersonal skills.* Experience in a role with electromechanical skills preferred.* Knowledge of cryogenic systems and principles * A levels in science based subjects * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.If you are interested, please call our branch on or apply online today!
