What You'll Do:As a QC Laboratory Porter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our laboratory runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the laboratory and surrounding areas clean and organised to promote a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Assisting Technicians: Support laboratory staff by preparing samples and materials as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Help manage stock levels of laboratory supplies and notify the team when replenishments are needed.
  • Waste Disposal: Ensure proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Transporting Materials: Safely transport samples and equipment between different areas of the laboratory.

Who You Are:We're on the lookout for someone who is not only capable but also brings a positive attitude to the team. Ideally, you will have:

  • A keen interest in laboratory operations and the sciences.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory setting (preferred but not essential).
